After over a decade of coaching people to write, pitch, and publish essays and opeds, and writing four books in five years, here’s what I’ve learned: Genius doesn’t write books, and inspiration doesn’t either. What writes books, or gets any big project done, is the ability to sit down and open your draft over and over again and do the work.

It took me time, and a little help, to find a writing practice that works for me: for my strengths, my goals, and my schedule. Now, let’s figure out what sitzfleisch looks like for you. Whether you need permission to start or a push to finish, I’m here to help you. Let’s work together.
